Our property and leasing experience is significant.  We currently represent the Owners of Shafto’s Lane, Perth, Office and Retail Towers at 256. St George’s Street, Perth, and various shopping centres like Wangara Gate, Beckingham Shopping Centre, and Ocean Reef Shopping Centre, Midland Shopping Centre, Kelmscott and High Wycombe Shopping Centres.

We have significant experience in large scale apartment developments and land subdivisions matters, being involved from start to end in various apartment development projects with values exceeding $100 million.  Such development projects include Trafalgar Heights Apartments in East Perth, Hood Street Apartments in Subi Centro, The Foundry Apartments in Subiaco, The Verde Apartments in East Perth, The Wickham Apartments in East Perth, Aqua Apartments in Joondalup and Oxygen Apartments in Joondalup.

We further have acted for Bank of Queensland (Morley) and the Royal Bank of Canada in providing general advice and securities documentations.

Notably, James Chong Lawyers represents Hiap Hoe Limited (SGX listed) in their Australian interests and Denning Chong is a director of their Australian subsidiaries having a property development portfolio of over $1 billion.   The firm also acts for the CP Group, to which Denning is also a director of their Australian subsidiaries.  The CP Group is a significant property developer, with its origins in Malaysia.  The firm further represents TS Holdings Limited, on of the largest Malaysian private companies, and represents them in their cross border transactions as well as Australian operations.
